Re: Dual mass flywheel. . Who'd have thought!!!

Ya for a dual mass flywheel I'd be changing the flywheel in future when I'm doing a clutch but I didn't even think they would be dual mass cause normally I'd never change a solid flywheel when doing the clutch. It was only about 2 months ago when I did the clutch kit, sickening having to take the bo...

Dual mass flywheel. . Who'd have thought!!!

Took the gearbox out of the Altezza monday as I initially thought there was a bearing gone in the boxdue to the rattle/ noise coming from it. Now I wasn't sure was the noise definitely in the box as was hard to pinpoint where ezactly it was, so I took the clutch off the flywheel and put the box back...

Re: ECU light on with TRC light flashing

Well after my nearly 2 year investigation of what could have been wrong to cause these lights to come on I eventually got it sorted. My next step after changing the gearbox sensor was replacing the wiring loom from the sensor to the ECU, which had no effect. At this stage I had it down to one of two...

Re: Cheapest timing belt kit??

Got in contact with Nick anyways and well impressed with the price! First off I priced the timming belt kit in toyota just to get a ballpark figure of what crazy price they would ask me. It worked out at €640 all including VAT!!! Nick came back to me with €280 total delivered to my door, thats €320 ...

Diagnostic code reader

Anybody know where I can get a code read of my Altezza round cork area? I've plugged in a few already but none of the will communicate directly and just tells me there's a speed sensor malfunction, if I had the right reader, if its an abs sensor it will tell me what one is the problem.

Re: Diagnostic check

Was always looking out for a code reader that has good enough functions for reading sensors readings etc. but budget price of course. I know its OBDII but not all of these will read the altezza, does anybody know how to find out if a code reader will actually work on altezzas before buying?
