Re: Airbag light on where's, the centre air bag sensor?

no it has to come on for 7 seconds then go out, i can get a resistor fitted that would do that but it'd cost me 70 quid so i'd rather see can i get it fixed

Re: Airbag light on where's, the centre air bag sensor?

So done a bit of investigating and i think all i need to do is reset the airbag sensor through the obd, i rang toyota in lucan today and they said they couldn't do it as its a jap import. Any one know any where that would be able to reset it around dublin/kildare/meath area

Re: power fc

Stock ECU will only run the car in standard set up it doesn;t even like an induction kit let alone a turbo. So yea you'll need to get a power FC and ideally someone to tune it before you try drive it, the power FC comes with a base map that would just about get you to your tuner and no more. A power...

As a long time member (well longer than most) and not the most prolific poster and i've only made it to one meet many moons ago due to work commitments, i'd still be more than happy to pay an annual fee. although i'd probably make some of the site accessable for free just to make sure we keep gettin...

Re: car is running s***

Might be worth gving the throttle body a good clean also as this caused a similar issue with my car some time ago. when you've done everything disconnect the ECU for a few minutes then reconnect and bring it for a nice long spin to get it nice n warm then drive it hard to burn off any other crap in ...

Re: Altezza Prices in current market?

99 auto tezz would be €2500 maybe 3k if yer lucky. What you need to do is prove to the insurance company that there is no way of replacing your car with one of a similar or better spec/condition/millage than the one you wrote off. Mate of mine done it with a 200SX which was technically writen off a ...

Re: Planning to Turbo a 3S-GE

I'd have to agree with ALEX on this, but if you are going to do it then get all new parts, 90% of the horror stories on here are from boys trying to slap second hand turbo's onto the tezza's also make sure and get someone who know how to map altezza's and has done one before Best of luck and hope ya...

Who has done the most miles in their Tezza

As i now have my Altezza 5 years this month i was just wondering if anyone has managed to cover more miles than me in their tezz. I bought the car in 2007 with 80k kilometer, it now has 180k so averaging only 20k a year and happy to say the car hasn't missed a beat in all the year i've had it. only ...
